With the Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau, we wanted to tell many different stories to many different groups. However, it’s difficult to do all of that in one social media channel. We developed several “vertical” accounts – including the Heritage Corridor Ale Trail (focusing on craft beer connoisseurs), Heritage Corridor Antique Trail (focusing on “treasure hunters), Route 66 – Illinois (focusing on “America’s Main Street”) and more.
The City of Lockport is a great little town located along the Illinois & Michigan Canal. We’re helping to promote the great things happening in the city, including Lockport’s Summer Art Series which helps to bring tens of thousands of visitors to the city.
My role with the Village of Lemont’s social media is to craft posts to reinforce 6 key points to help solidify their brand. Village staff publish event updates and the latest news, bringing me on to solidify their marketing team, social presence, and brand “Enjoy Our Scene.” I also developed a web video series entitled “The Scene” to showcase the great people, places and events of the Village.
